ARC consists of clinical research coordinators and fellows, data scientists, statisticians and research administrators with extensive experience in clinical research. To find out more about our team, please see their biographies and contact information below.

ARC Team Members
Ariel joined MGH as the Senior Program Manager to form ARC in October 2019. In this role she oversaw clinical research staff working within the center and serves as a resource for the implementation of both funded and unfunded clinical research studies. Prior to joining MGH Ariel worked both as a statistician and clinical research specialist at a local hospital in Boston. Ariel brings extensive experience in grant preparation, study design and implementation, project management, research regulations and statistical analyses. Ariel previously graduated from Boston University in 2014 with a Masters of Arts in biostatistics. In addition to her role within the Anesthesia Research Center, Ariel is currently an Associate in Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School and currently serves as the AMC Administrative Director for Research across Mass General Brigham, which includes directing departmental space, financial, personnel and research activities.
Matt joined ARC as a Data Analyst in September 2022 and was promoted shortly after to a statistician within the ARC team. Matt graduated from Clark University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Since graduating from Clark, Matt has worked with Electronic Health Record systems in various capacities. He supported clients using MEDITECH's Laboratory Information Systems, and implemented Epic at UMass Memorial Health Care and Mayo Clinic. More recently, Matt was a Project Specialist and Clinical Business Analyst for the perioperative and anesthesia departments at MGH where he cultivated an appreciation for healthcare data. At ARC Matt assists investigators with study design, query development, data abstraction and statistical analysis, primarily for observational research studies.
Before joining ARC in March 2023, Elizabeth graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science in May 2021, and a Master’s in Public Health in May 2022. Her Master’s concentrations were Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Pharmaceutical Development. During her time as a graduate student, Elizabeth was an Epidemiology Teaching Fellow in BU’s Department of Health Sciences, as well as a Data Management and Quality Improvement Intern at Boston Children’s Hospital Pediatric Transplant Center. More recently, Elizabeth was a Clinical Data Analyst at Lahey Medical Center’s Comparative Effectiveness Research Institute Team where she gained experience working with large-scale healthcare data. At ARC Elizabeth assists clinical and research faculty in the design, conduct, and statistical analysis of clinical research studies.
Jaini earned her Bachelor’s in Health Sciences from Drexel University and her Master’s in Quantitative Biomedical Sciences from Dartmouth, where she focused on biostatistics, machine learning, and clinical research. During her time at Dartmouth, she gained hands-on experience working with large-scale clinical and EHR datasets, applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to real-world healthcare problems. She is comfortable working across both machine learning and biostatistics, with experience ranging from regression and survival analysis to mixed-effects modeling and predictive modeling approaches. Through this work, she has developed skills in analyzing complex data, building reproducible workflows, and collaborating with interdisciplinary clinical and research teams.
Aditi joined the ARC as a Clinical Research Coordinator in September 2024. Prior to joining, she completed her Master’s in Biotechnology at the University of Pennsylvania in May 2024, during which time she gained work experience in cell therapy operations and manufacturing. She has also been involved in bacteriophage research, in addition to research studying the effect of non-autonomous oncogene expression on hematopoiesis in fruit flies, with goal of better understanding homologous tumor signaling pathways in humans. At the ARC, she hopes to branch out into clinical research, and gain experience with study coordination, patient recruitment, regulatory submissions and data analysis.
Scotti Harrison joined ARC as a Clinical Research Coordinator in April 2025. She has previously worked in hospital settings coordinating studies on ICU delirium, sedation outcomes, and long-term neurological recovery in both adult and pediatric patients. She holds a B.S. in Neuroscience and History from the College of William and Mary, where she graduated in 2022. She is currently pursuing dual master’s degrees in Public Health and Nutrition Science at Tufts University, with plans to apply to medical school. At the Anesthesia Research Center Scotti participates in all study activities including screening and recruitment, data collection, neurocognitive assessments and regulatory compliance.
Mukil joined the ARC as a Clinical Research Coordinator in December 2024. Prior to joining the ARC, he worked as a Critical Care and Emergency Room Technician at a hospital in the Greater Boston area, where he cared for a diverse patient population in both critical care and emergency settings. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2024 with bachelor's degrees in applied mathematics and biology. During his undergraduate studies, he also served as an Emergency Medical Technician with his collegiate EMS agency. At the ARC, Mukil leverages his clinical experience to engage with patients at Brigham and Women's Hospital while gaining a deeper understanding of clinical research.
Julia joined the ARC as a clinical research coordinator in August 2025. She previously worked as a clinical research specialist, coordinating phase I-III investigator-initiated and industry sponsored genitourinary oncology clinical trials. Julia graduated from DePauw University with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2024; as an undergraduate research assistant, she contributed to social and behavioral psychology research projects that sought to reduce racial incivility and gender-based harassment in wet labs as well as motivate bystander action in instances of harassment. At the ARC she is excited to continue gaining experience in clinical research and to interact with patients through recruitment efforts and neurocognitive assessments.
